Walk It Like You Talk It: Earn More Money in 2018 with these two Fitness Apps

Who doesn't want to earn free money by just doing day-to-day activities?

I know I do for all the countless walking I do to and from my on-site laundry facility at my apartment, I would love to get paid for doing that shit. Well apparently there are two apps that do just that, paying you for taking steps towards improving your physical fitness: Achievement and SweatCoin.

Achievement

Achievement is an app that connects more than 20+ health and fitness apps to track your fitness and nutrition data and rewards you with points to convert to cash. Sounds complicated right? Wrong.. It's actually fairly simple.

Don't mind the 424 steps, that was a slow day for me. After playing with this app since January 2018, I've estimated that around 5,000+ steps earns 15 points and 10,000+ steps earns 30 points. This app earns you points by doing what you do each day from walking to your 9:00am class, taking a run outside, dancing at a 90s Hip Hop party, & shopping at your local mall. Not only connecting through steps, this app also lets you connect with other apps to earn even more points.

Life Fitness, MapMyFitness, MapMyHike, and MapMyRide are just a couple of examples. There are even some apps that support unique activities such as: Glucose, Medication, Food Log, & Meditation. Also If you are big into sharing your health and fitness journey, you can earn points by using Twitter to connect with others.

You can find this hidden jewel in the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. After entering in your information, you'll be able to connect any apps listed, including the built-in Health app on iPhone.

After I get 10,000 points, I'll be able to get $10. Well, let me get to stepping.

Sweatcoin

Sweatcoin is an app that transforms your steps each day into digital currency. With this digital currency, you can purchase things such as workout gear, PayPal gift cards, and even an iPhone X. An iPhone X for just walking every damn where?? But there's a catch:

You need to have the app running in the background on your phone and accessing your GPS in order to actually get credit for the steps you take. This can a burden on your battery if you are constantly one of those people who always has to charge your phone from checking Instagram all day. But there's a Battery Saver Mode you can access in the app (which states that some steps will be lost to maximize your battery life).

The Sweatcoin app tracks your outdoor steps, for every 1,000 steps you earn 1 Sweatcoin (SWC). This seems like a lot of work for just 1 coin, but if you live a somewhat active lifestyle then you should be able to get 10,000+ steps in a day.

Sweatcoin also has membership plans where you can purchase with Sweatcoins(SWC).   - Earn up to 5 SWC per day with Mover (Free)

- Earn up to 10 SWC per day with Shaker (Cost 5 SWC Per Month)

- Earn up to 15 SWC per day with Quaker (Cost 20 SWC Per Month)

- Earn up to 20 SWC per day with Breaker (Cost 30 SWC Per Month)

As you can I see I'm currently on the Shaker plan where the max SWC I can earn in a day is 10 SWC. All I have to do to maintain the Shaker is to earn at least 20 SWC a month or 20,000 outside steps. Ultimately, if you want to earn more than 5 SWC per day then either Shaker, Quaker, or Breaker should fit your style. If earning more SWC towards a Curved Samsung TV (20,000 SWC) sounds like no fun, then sticking with Mover is fine (each plan also has a free 18 day trial).

Besides the limit to how many SWC you can earn per day outside, Sweatcoin is an pretty awesome app to earn money and prizes. Pair this app with the Achievement app, both located in the Apple Store and Google Play, you could have yourself with an iPhone X and $10 extra dollars.
